What to Expect at a Zoom Session

The Zoom room will be open 5 minutes before our start time, in case you want to log in a little early to settle in and transition from the rest of your day.

What you might want to have ready:

-A favorite beverage

-One pillow and blanket (or more!)

-A comfortable place to lie down or sit where you won’t be bothered

-Camera on or off (do whatever helps you feel more restful)

Our time will include:

-Arrival/Somatic check-in

-Optional gentle movement

-Reading from Rest is Resistance

-Closing guided rest practice

I will then quietly close the Zoom meeting, so you can choose to remain in your rest bubble if you like. 🥱

Donations & Support

These sessions are free and open to everyone. If you’re able, donations of $10–30 per session are warmly appreciated and help me extend this work to more people.

You can donate through my website using the site, Venmo (Stacy-Carleton-1), or CashApp ($StacyCarleton).

I encourage you to support one of my biggest inspirations for this work, Tricia Hersey: Buy her book/Check out her website.

Other Tips

-These sessions meet every Thursday from 5:30-6:30 pm through the end of 2025, except for the last Thursday in November (11/27) and last Thursday in December (12/25). I will always alert you of any other schedule changes if they come up.

-Unlike some of my other gatherings, online Sacred Rest does not include participant sharing. These one-hour rest sessions are a space for you to practice somatic tools, notice your own experience, connect to your deeper self and needs, and receive care through the power of community rest.

I always love hearing from you, and welcome questions and feedback: Connect through my website.
